The Practice of Loving Presence
by Ron Kurtz and Donna Martin, with Flint Sparks

Book Three of the Practice of Loving Presence is Loving Presence for Therapists, and includes an expansion on Ron's introduction to the practice as well as research-based explanations about the application of loving presence for therapists and other helping professionals. With input from psychotherapist and Zen priest, Flint Sparks PhD, this book also looks at therapy as spiritual practice. As in the other books in this series, it offers practical exercises, here specifically for therapists in general and Hakomi practitioners in particular.

Book Four of the Practice of Loving Presence is called a Practice for Life and reviews the way loving presence looks and can be practiced, explaining the stages of the practice with more original loving presence exercises. This book also explores some of the many applications of loving presence in your life: with children, students, support groups, friends, and so on. It also describes an application of loving presence called Peacemaking.
